Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the RoundMate iPhone app and this RoundMate support website. RoundMate is designed for solo UK window cleaners. Questions can be sent to koriziom@gmail.com.

2. Data stored locally in the app

RoundMate stores the information you enter and the records the app creates in local app storage on your iPhone. This may include:

• Profile and settings: business name, your name, phone number, email address, invoice sender details, payment details and terms, VAT settings, message templates, working days, capacity settings and app preferences.
• Home or base: the address and map coordinates you choose for route planning.
• Clients: names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, prices, visit frequency, preferred day, payment method, access notes, invoice preference and locally saved map coordinates.
• Jobs and round planning: due dates, completed or skipped status, prices, route order, planning assignments and capacity information.
• Invoices and payments: invoice numbers and dates, amounts, status, client and business details copied into invoice records, payment references, payment dates, methods, notes and paid or owed status.

RoundMate does not operate an account system, client-data backend or cloud sync service. The developer does not receive this local app data through RoundMate.

3. Subscriptions, Apple and RevenueCat

RoundMate offers optional auto-renewable RoundMate Pro subscriptions through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles the purchase, payment method, billing and App Store account. RoundMate does not receive your full card or bank details.

RoundMate uses RevenueCat to load subscription options, verify purchase status, restore purchases and unlock the pro entitlement. The app does not create a named RoundMate account or send RevenueCat a custom user ID, email address or phone number. RevenueCat's SDK creates an anonymous app user identifier so it can associate subscription status with the app installation and Apple purchase.

The RevenueCat connection may run when the app opens so RoundMate can check whether Pro is active and load the available plans, including when the user is currently on the Free plan. The RoundMate developer may view anonymous subscription status and purchase events in RevenueCat's dashboard, but not the operational app data listed in the right-hand column above. RevenueCat processes subscription information under its privacy policy and may store it outside the UK, including in the United States, under the safeguards described there. Apple processes App Store purchases under Apple's privacy policy.

4. Addresses, maps and route previews

When you preview or import an address, the typed address may be sent to Apple's platform geocoding service to find map coordinates. Those coordinates are then stored with the local RoundMate record. RoundMate does not use your iPhone's current GPS location and does not track your movements.

RoundMate's in-app map preview uses the map service available on the device. If you choose to open a client or route in Apple Maps or Google Maps, RoundMate passes the relevant address or ordered route stops to that provider. The provider handles that information under its own privacy terms. RoundMate does not receive your navigation history.

5. Calls, messages, email, WhatsApp and sharing

These actions happen only when you choose them:

• Phone: RoundMate passes the saved number to the iPhone Phone app.
• SMS or iMessage: RoundMate opens the Messages composer with the saved number and prepared text.
• Email: RoundMate opens the iOS email composer with the chosen recipient, subject and message. Invoice emails also include the PDF attachment.
• WhatsApp: RoundMate opens a WhatsApp link containing the saved phone number and prepared message. WhatsApp and Meta then handle that information under their policies.
• Share sheet: RoundMate gives the selected file to iOS. You choose the receiving app, person or storage location.

RoundMate does not send calls, messages, emails or invoices automatically. Once information is handed to another app or service, that provider's privacy policy and your choices apply.

6. Backups, exports and invoice PDFs

RoundMate can create files on your iPhone at your request:

• A full JSON backup can contain clients, jobs, settings, planning, route order, invoices and payment records.
• Client, invoice and report CSV exports contain the records included in the selected export.
• Invoice PDFs contain the client, service, amount, business and payment details shown in the invoice preview.

Export and PDF files are prepared locally in the app's temporary file area and opened through the iOS share or email flow. RoundMate does not upload them to a RoundMate server. If you save or send a file, copies remain wherever you chose to put them until you delete them there. Treat backups and exports as sensitive business records.

7. No sale, advertising or cross-app tracking

RoundMate does not sell personal data. It has no advertising network, no general app-usage analytics SDK and no mechanism for tracking you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Subscription purchase history is used by RevenueCat for app functionality and subscription service reporting, not by RoundMate for advertising.

8. Retention, deletion and reset

Local records remain on your iPhone until you remove them in RoundMate, reset the app or uninstall it. RoundMate provides options to remove clients and related round records, or reset everything from Settings > Data & backup > Reset app. Depending on your iOS settings, Apple may also include app data in an iPhone or iCloud device backup; this is an Apple backup service, not RoundMate cloud sync.

Deleting or resetting RoundMate does not delete exported copies, copies in an Apple device backup or subscription records, and it does not cancel an Apple subscription. Apple and RevenueCat may retain purchase and subscription records as required to provide restoration, billing, fraud prevention, reporting and legal compliance. 9. This support website

This static website has no account, backend, analytics, advertising, cookies or contact form. Tapping the email address opens your own email provider. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so Cloudflare may process standard connection information, such as IP address and request details, to deliver and protect the website under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

10. Security and your responsibilities

Local-first storage reduces the data sent to RoundMate, but no device or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your iPhone with a passcode, keep iOS updated, and store exported files carefully.

If you enter your customers' personal data, you are responsible for using it lawfully, keeping it accurate, limiting access and deleting it when no longer needed. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in notes.

11. Children's privacy

RoundMate is a business tool for adult tradespeople and is not directed at children.

12. Your choices and contact

You can view, edit, export and delete local app records through RoundMate. For privacy questions or requests concerning information handled by the developer or RoundMate's subscription service, email koriziom@gmail.com.

13. Future changes

This policy may be updated when RoundMate's features, service providers or legal obligations change. The new effective date will be shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected before the relevant app update is released.
